Company History
Alamo Bolt & Screw was established in 1967 by Mr. WL Whitis. The existing fastener companies were located in the downtown area of San Antonio and Mr. Whitis and his friends opened a store to accommodate the customers north of downtown. The first Alamo Bolt & screw was located on Haby Drive and in a very short while it was relocated to Chuli Street because of the large volume that the store had. The demand for more variety forced the company to again relocate to its present location at 10101 Jones Maltsberger Road behind the airport. The company has been located on Jones Maltsberger since 1984. We have an excellent selection of fasteners. Besides nuts, bolts, screws, washers and any type of fastener we carry tools for home and commercial use.
Today's Team
Randy Duerr took over ownership in 2014 and originally started with the company back in 1991. He is very knowledgeable of all fasteners and will be happy to answer any questions in this field. Randy and his employees have an excellent reputation for bringing the best customer service to San Antonio and surrounding areas. Come in and visit and see for yourself.
